Useful Tips

• Participate in Supreme Commander every week and reach the goals for 3x Magic Eye daily for 5 Days. The rank is irrelevant, you just need to finish the goals. Anvil works everyday and is worth 300 points each but is worth a bit less on a Friday.
  • Use drones or Intel on Day 1;
  • Use your Mother Boxes on Day 2 but save the shards for Day 4;
  • Craft Gear Research base tech or use drones for Day 3, Spent your Shards on Day 4 and a Final Sprint on Day 5 with Evolving Gear being worth the most.
• Interstellar Visitor comes on the Weekend. You need 8k worth of gems to buy everything except the 3x Ultimate Galactic Quest Collection which cost 3000 gems each which means a total of 17k gems are needed. You’re obviously not always going to get enough gems unless you spend a bit or have saved up enough from Combat Cycle, a goal to strive for. So depending on where you are in the game and what your goals are will determine what you buy.
• League Mobilization happens every two weeks. You get a total of 8 Attempts to start with and 1 extra per day including the first day for free. Just press the + button to check. You can do 2 Exclusive Missions a day and can refresh them 10x a day but it takes 30 minutes each time. There is a chance for 200% and 120% bonus on Exclusive Missions. You are givne 24 hours to complete a mission. If you refresh and time League Mobilization correctly, you can complete the goals whilst matching it with the Supreme Commander Day thus achieving two objectives at once.
• Checkmate requires registering and is a game of chess played by R4s and above. It’s boring. Just registered your best ships and that’s it.
• Guardian happens on the weekend if successfully registered. It is a huge epic strategy live battle that takes a lot of effort and co-ordination but the winning Guardian gains a city which provides bonuses for their resources. We just need to be active especially if defending the city is required.

FAQ

What is the basic strategy for Supreme Commander event?

If you manage your resources wisely, you will eventually be able to complete this event every week for every gem available and all the magic eyes, as F2P.

Day 3: Does that mean I pause all base upgrades for Supreme Com?

No. You would just want your best technology research for that day and you’d craft all your gear that day. And of course drones on whatever buildings you have in process.

Why legacy pieces should be used Day 5 if possible?

They are only worth points on the same day as Mother Boxes, which you’ll have an easier time always hitting the milestones for, so they make sense to save for day 5 in general to make it easier to get through all three rounds.

Because the boxes will generate resources for day 4 of the event. And eventually they will help you rank higher overall in the event.

And the nice thing about the boxes is eventually you have so many that when you use them for the event, the boxes they create set you up to already finish the event the following week, so you can begin saving towards the next Supreme Commander.

That’s after using every Mother Box I saved this week. And here’s where I pretty much always land on day 2.

So I only need 40 Gold boxes to exceed the event requirements next week and I already have it, and that’s a big part of how I always rank top 50 or higher by the end, and always have excess character shards to use on day 5 with my legacy upgrades to complete the event week and get the max gems and max magic eyes I can.

Does using 10 shards to unlock a character count towards Stage 4, or is it only when you use them to get the first star and onwards?

Only when you advance their stars, unlocks do not count unfortunately.
