ASURAJANG – Useful Tips for Noobs

New Players Guide
General Tips
- While swimming, stamina is slowly consumed and does not recover. If an Asura’s stamina reaches 0 while swimming, they are Knocked Out.
- Hiding inside tall bushes makes you invisible to nearby enemies. However, if you perform any action besides moving, your Asura will become visible again.
- After dodging an enemy attack, you may perform a Dodge Counter Attack, which can launch enemies into the air. Enemies that are hit also become ‘Airborne’ and are unable to input any actions, making them perfect targets for aerial combos.
- Super Armor status is indicated by a white glowing aura that surrounds your Asura. Super Armor nullifies the staggering and ‘Blow Away’ effects of enemy attacks.
- When you pick up the Soul of an eliminated squad member, look for a Wheel of Reincarnation. Eliminated teammates can be Revived by spinning the Wheel of Reincarnation.

- Hitting an enemy in ‘Groggy’ State, with an attack that has the ‘K.O.’ effect, will knock them out of the arena and eliminate them. Deplete the HP of enemies and perform a Knockout attack to blow them away!
- When a player’s HP is completely depleted, they enter ‘Groggy’ state, and cannot perform any actions. However, after a certain time passes, they will recover from ‘Groggy’ state and recover some HP.
- There are many types of Consumable Items besides the typical HP and Stamina recovery items. Consumable Items can change the tide of battle if used wisely.
Lock-On: If you lock-on to your enemies, you can land your attacks more easily:
- Keyboard / Mouse: With your mouse cursor above an enemy Asura, press the mouse wheel button to lock-on to the enemy.
- Controller: Press the L-stick/L3 button to lock-on to the closest enemy.
Jumping Tips
If you didn’t already know you can only jump once until you land on the ground, however jumping across gaps that have nothing to land on lets you jump infinitely till you run out of stamina or till you reach a platform below you.
This provides a lot of advantages as the terrains vary in size with some being reachable upon a single jump and others may not. Be aware of your surroundings and you just might be able to overcome this hurdle.
- If a platform is unreachable, check to see if there’s gaps or areas where you could normally fall off in. Use it to your advantage to get multiple jumps to reach high places as a shortcut for chasing and escaping players.
- If you have stamina to spare, try using the Dash (Dodge) button and canceling it with a jump. This provides a quick and fast momentum to get around faster at the cost of more stamina. Some characters do not benefit from this like Baju or Ryuan as they have alternative means. Be sure to monitor your surroundings and how much stamina you currently have or you may eliminate yourself carelessly however.
- If you happen to pick up a portable trampoline and are in a bind with no time to recover your stamina. Consider using one to bounce off high platform or gaps as they do not consume stamina on use and is a great way to maintain movement as you wait to replenish your resources.
- Jumping over a gap continuously will allow your camera to zoom out, offering you a wider overview of the battlefield. You can spot enemies far away that you normally wouldn’t see. Just remember to jump back over land or else you’ll fall to your death.
