TRIBE NINE – Player Card Medals / Badges Guide

Guide to Achievement-Earned Medals

Ву ValkyrionMag.

This guide will be dedicated to the various achievement-earned medals you can equip to your profile, letting you know when/how you can unlock specific ones, or higher-tier versions of them.

Some come in bronze, silver, gold, platinum and special/full-colors (such as for hitting Extreme Rank in a specific XB season, or the secret XB encounter)!

Shinagawa Graffiti

  • Bronze (each): Find 15 of HIME (butterflies), CHIKARA (holographic) and-or EYE (geometric) graffiti.
  • Silver: Find all 35 of CHIKARA and-or EYE graffiti. HIME has only 30 total, and does not get a silver version of the butterfly badge.

Shinagawa Progress

  • Bronze, Silver and Gold (and likely Platinum) are achieved for every 25% of the city’s challenges you’ve finished. It takes 90 daily quests, or 30 full days of 3 daily quests every day, at minimum to complete “Happy Workaholics!” in your stamp book and reach 100% for a single city.

Minato Graffiti

  • Bronze (each): Find 15 of YOSHIKING (“rough”), Shiho (trendy/cute-looking), and-or ARU-OME (dynamic/skull-motif) graffiti.
  • Silver: Find all 35 of Shioh and-or ARU-OME graffiti. YOSHIKING is like HIME and only gets 30 to find, losing out on a silver of his rough, dripping medal.

Minato Progress

  • 25%, 50%, and 75%, but 100% not shown/earned yet.

Bronze Ooze

Defeat all nine Ooze enemies on the way between Shinagawa and Minato. Remember to keep far away of their soon-to-be explosive deaths, but they already count as ‘dead’ in that state, so the fight ends when the last one starts arming itself!

Reoccurring Commissions

Between the first two chapters of the game and sometimes daily, you’ll encounter side-quests with NPCs you’ll meet for the first time and keep bumping into or receiving messages from all over Neo Tokyo. The amount of quests they have vary from NPC to NPC, but their Bronze medals require 4 or 6 of their quests completed.

  • Sumisu & Sugo (latter of which always gets himself stuck): 4 times
  • Ayane (often-threatened female employee): 6 times
  • Kiccho (suspicious old man): 6 times
  • Kujira (menacing softie): 4 times
  • Madam Bonnet (host of the rose games): 6 times
  • Kotara & Nono (business man and his stalker): 4 times
  • Ranche (bratty foodie girl): 6 times

Character Friendships

Every character has a unique medal of their head based on how much you use them in battle, and Friendship levels can stretch up to 1000.

  • Bronze: Level 5 friendship.
  • Silver: Level 50 friendship.
  • Gold: Level 100 friendship.

Ranked XB

The XB-ball Silver, Gold and Platinum medals can only be earned once for reaching the lowest rank of the same name, but Extreme medals (purple) are unique per season, meaning you can earn them again and again.

Weapon Badges

Every character has a unique medal of their weapon based upon the amount of battles initiated with them.

  • Attack with [char] to Initiate Encounter 2,000 times.

Ultimate Skill Badges

Every character has a unique medal of their ultimate skill icon based upon the amount of times their ultimate skill is used.

  • Activate [char]’s Ultimate Skill 2,000 times.

The Secret XB Medal

Potential Spoilers Ahead!

This medal requires completing Chapter 2 first:

  1. Find Saburo (Quadruplet 3, in the green jacket) in Mita’s Hideout. He’ll give you a side-quest to complete at the far end of Azabu Intersection, a southwards dead-end area that serves as Minato City’s homeplate.
  2. Complete the quest, return to Saburo in the Hideout, then return to the memorial you tidied up.
  3. Interact with the memorial multiple times. See the “. . .” extending each time?
  4. Fix your team, as this ‘PvE’ loadout of your PvP XB configuration is somewhat scrambled around in terms of positions and batting order.
  5. Keep your eyes open and bat like your life depends on it. You’re going to need it.
  6. You’ll receive a full-color Shun Kamiya medal for coming out victorious against Minato’s once-prime XB team.
  7. Optionally, check out the 2022 anime for further context as to who those people were.
