Omniheroes – New Players FAQ

Beginners Q&A
Ву Myzel.
Will Guild shop heroes rotate?
Guild shop as of now has only rotated once, early into launch. As there is no official announcement or precedent we can only assume that with time, yes, it will.
What’s the best team?
As this game has various content that requires you to meet different conditions there is no 1 true best. But for those starting out, Ethereal is a great bang for your buck kind of team with great returns. Avengers is a great F2P option that really takes shape as time goes on.
What heroes should I aim for?
Catrina, Salleine, and Nawi are heroes you should keep an eye out for depending on your existing roster.
Always pick atropos when no better options are present.

I’m stuck what can I do?
Try checking out the Clear Records. You can find this at the bottom right of your loadout screen as you’re setting up your team. Here you can see the teams, advancements, levels, ascension, and relics of the successful attempts of those who came before you. Don’t worry if your units don’t match. This not the end all be all. Use this as guidance and inspiration for your success.

Take note that heroes are not your only source of power. Consider the following: Sage’s Tome in guild, Ascension, Gear (Refinement, Enchant, Enchance), Archive, Relics. When you become stuck in one area, try to progress in another.
What should I spend my diamonds on?
Celestial Trials, Forgotten land (Stage 25 and above), discounts in Merchant Guild[70%+ for Ascension Ore (The green one), and Refinement Ore, 50%+ for SMN Ticket II, Oracle Decree, Ascension Ore II (the orange one), and Invoker Crystal ], Mission Speed Up (50 and 100), and Guild Donation.
Disclaimer: Use your best judgement to not over spend your available funds.
How do I get more diamonds?
As you level up your Bounty Quests you will find yourself with an optional reward of 100, 150, or even 300 diamonds. These are the ones you should spend your bounties on. (With high enough bounty level, yes it is profitable to spend 30 diamonds to refresh your bounties)

I want to spend money, what should I buy?
The most efficient use of your money would be best spent on Benefit packs (I.E. Mission Decree, Oracle Decree, Relic Decree, ETC) and Monthly Cards.

Additionally, if you’re in the very beginning stages of the game, yes, the first purchase pack is a great value. Love Omniheroes already and want more? The subsequent pack for $9.99 is also a great deal. Equipment and a selector ticket! Here’s your first Atropos

I upgraded talents on a hero I no longer use/need, did I make a mistake?
Not at all! This process is entirely reversible with two methods. If it’s a hero of no value, such as an epic, you can use it as fodder to another hero. Upon doing so your Terra crystals will be refunded.
Not a hero you want to lose? Well this is where the other method comes in, albeit with a little bit of creativity and 500 diamonds.
First you’ll need to buy a Flashback Watch from the Merchant Guild. Then head over to either Flashback in the pop-up menu from the main screen, or Rebirth from the Hero Summary screen in the top right. At the bottom you’ll have two tabs. Select “Reroll”. In here just select the hero of your choosing, don’t worry if it says Contracted/Deployed, just tap on them and confirm. You’ll now see all the resources that will be returned to you (Sacrifical Fodder, Exp, Ascension Ore).
Don’t see your Terra Crystals? Don’t worry, this is the creative part. Find the chosen hero in your hero box and identify the one with the talents (usually the first one). Select one of the other duplicates and advance it. When the hero with talents has become fodder you will receive your Terra crystals back in full.

How does the Sanctuary of Eve and Hero benediction work?
The Santuary of Eve is one of the most pivotal points to your success. In the SoE, the level, ascension, and equipment is shared with any benedicted hero. Of your 5 highest leveled heroes the lowest values will be shared amongst the rest.
For example. Heroes 1, 2, 3, and 4 are level 60 with +15 ascension and legendary gear. Hero #5 is level 58 with +12 ascension and epic gear. Then it is hero #5’s values that will be transferred amongst the rest.
Your goal with this system is to limit your resources (Exp, Equipment, Refinement, ETC) to these 5 heroes ONLY. Ideally you will want to have these values identical across these 5 heroes.
You will want to put your most critical units here. As stated before these units should have identical levels, ascensions, and gear. When it comes time to upgrade any of these, begin with your DPS and work your way down. In the case of equipment refinement and enchantment, you’ll want to prioritize all weapons first. Secondly helmet and boots. Lastly, health, as the amount gained per level is the least impactful, as such should be left for last.

Where can I find a tier list?
Right here! While this list doesn’t cover every nuance, niche, and finer points. While this list isn’t the end all be all. I’m confident most would agree with this tier list.

How do I access Northern Expedition?
The Northern Expedition is available 15 days after the server opens, and after the players have reached Lv.50 and cleared the Main Mission 23-60.

In this mode you’ll face a host of varying enemies and bosses, each with their own strategies and methods to overcome. Your hero’s level and gear will be equalized. Only your hero’s stars, Sage’s Tome, Archive, Manor, and Relics will impact your power. There is no price of admission, so feel free to brave this frozen wasteland with no regrets. The more varied and flushed out your hero roster is, the better your chance of success.
How do Runes work?
Runes can be obtained from Celestial Trials. Here you will face off against bosses. These fights have different Valkyrie, Faction, and Rune synergy bonuses to aid you in your battle. Each boss will drop different types of runes for different factions. The quality of these runes will increase as you progress.
The types of runes are as follow:
- DPS – (2 set) Crit DMG % (4 set) ATK %
- Reflect – (2 set) Reflect Rate % (4 set) Healing ban debuff on random enemy
- Protection – (2 set) Dodge Rate % (4 set) Holy Shield for equipped hero
- Survival – (2 set) Heal Rate % (4 set) Max HP % heal per round
Throughout these battles you will also acquire Bronze Coins and Golden coins which can be turned in for Rune Badges which you can use to redeem exclusive runes for heroes of your choosing. These badges will allow you to select the hero and rune slot that the rune you receive will be. The type of rune will be randomized. These exclusive runes will grant extra bonuses and effects to your hero’s kit.
As such, depending on the quality of these rune skills, it may sometimes be beneficial to run exclusive runes of non-optimal rune types on your hero. For example, Karnak’s Crushing thrust rune skill, which allows him to execute an enemy below 30% hp. This may allow your team to deal more Dmg and neutralize threats more quickly than if he had a full set of DPS runes. For these types of situations it’s best to use your judgment and try out which is better for your given situation.

How should I allocate my Sage’s Tome?
Sage’s Tome is a key source of beneficial stats and effects that can’t be found anywhere else. Now, while there may be a few caveats, as a whole this should lay out your roadmap to a successful Sage’s Tome.
First and foremost, it is ill advised to hyper focus on one branch. It’s more beneficial to raise each to 30 to benefit from all the beneficial effects. Then begin to focus on 2-3 branches. After some decent progression, you may then bring those higher priority branches to completion one by one. Level your Trailblazer’s Legacy as needed, but no more than Lv64 until all branches are Lv130.
Situations vary andthere may be situations where you’ll want to raise one branch for whatever reason, such as wanting more dodge to clear a particular stage. Luckily, each branch can be reset for a small cost of 50 diamonds.
In my personal opinion:
- Glorian > Valiantor > Ethereal > Avenger > Doomsdayer/Mystifier
Glorian: Upon receiving a buff
- 50% to gain (x) stacks of ATK Boost
- 50% to purify (x) stacks of ATK Reduction
- For every buff stack owned increase skill effect by (x)% up to 100%
Valiantor: Upon killing an enemy
- Apply (x) stacks of DEF Reduction on all enemies
- Dispell (x) stacks of DEF Boost on all enemies
- Increase next skill effect by 100%
Ethereal: Upon landing a critical hit
- 50% to apply (x) stacks of DEF Reduction to target
- 50% to dispell (x) stacks of DEF Boost on target
- 50% to dispell (x) stacks of buffs on target
Avenger: Upon ally death
- Apply (x) stacks of DEF boost on surviving allies
- Purify (x) stacks of DEF Reduction on surviving allies
- Heal surviving allies by (x)% of max HP
Doomsdayer: Upon dealing reflect damage
- 50% to gain (x) stacks of DEF Boost
- 50% to purify (x) stacks of DEF Reduction
- 50% to dispell (x) stacks of buffs from target
Mystifier: Upon applying corrode
- Apply (x) stacks of ATK Reduction
- Dispell (x) stacks of ATK Boost
- Heal ally with lowest HP by (x)%
Glorians will aid you for every buff you receive. This includes shields. With someone like Catrina, it’s easily to see the value here. Valiantor helps you to snowball off your first kill. One kill leads to another. You can forego the Ethereal branch if you don’t have an Eth team, but this tends to be a team most transition into one way or another (Meta). Avengers is the last of the trees that isn’t locked to a specific synergy. Healing and bolstering your team in the event of a death.
When it comes to Doomsdayer and mystifiers, these tend to be the least popular tree due to them being centered around mechanics that are unique to these less popular heroes and their respective synergy. This isn’t to say there isn’t value here. If you find yourself using Aiushtha, Lamia,or Catherine frequently, the story changes. As these are heroes valued well and above their peers, they can really make the Doom and Myst branches shine.
