Progression Tips

I think the main line of progression for each tier of gear should be:

Evolution: Max (Do First)
Upgrade: +11
Option: +5

Priority on the gear specifically is the Main Hand Weapon, Off Hand Weapon, Gloves, and then armor. (I suggest just leveling up the armor one level at a time and rotating).

Once you get all the extra stuff for the tier, like rings and wings, you’ll probably already be onto the next tier. If you get lucky and finish it early, you can look at the upgrade paths and see what will add more flat damage to your skills or attack.

When a new mechanic gets introduced, like inserted runes, I suggest buying the purple ones with garnets and immediately installing them into your gear when available.

I’ve been using this methodology, and my level 323 character is defeating level 350s if I’m at 100% with cooldowns. Hope it helps anyone confused about what to do first since there are so many systems.

Which should more prioritized? Evolution or bidding on purple equips?

I’d only evolve the greens to then imprint it onto the purple I’m going to equip only if I couldn’t find it on the auction house.
Like, there were some Tier 2 pieces that took me like 4-5 days to get.
In the interim, I evolved the green gear and then imprinted it all onto the purple once I equipped it.
The game only lets you do this once, so make sure the purple you’re putting on is the one you plan on keeping and not just something to hold you over until you get the one you want.
This doesn’t apply to Tier 3, however, because the greens do not let you evolve at all.

Garnet Farming Tips

Pre-level 500, make multiple farm characters, ideally of the same class as your main (this will help you with getting gears and not relying on market).
Then secure wing crafting materials on your main. If you are a whale, the most reliable ways is to be in a guild by yourself and get 1st-3rd on GB.
Then you make wings and sell it in guild auction. Then have your Alts buy out the wings.

After Lv 500 its step 2 & 3 but you just sell it to mysterious merchant instead.

For F2P, it just whatever you get from daily. I would still have at least one Alts so you can sell wings from the few crystal of chaos and feather you’ll get from drops.
