How to Fix Quests

Vasko is Unconscious:

Better equip a torch because once you talk to the dog, you must follow him carefully so you don’t trigger the wolves. He will lead you to a corner where the wine is hidden. If you take the wine, just go back to the camp and Vasko will be waiting there for you. You can go save the dog the next morning if you want.

Can’t Leave Alchemist Bench in Tutorial:

Try long-pressing an alternate button or key, and check your keybinds. On PC, the default is backspace.

Saving Problems During The Jaunt:

I figured out that the save file in the loader didn’t keep up and save “on the same track.” So the save I meant to load went further down the line, while the game was stuck at another save. I fixed the problem by turning off Steam Cloud and then removing the other saves (I had found out that the save I wanted was 43). Then I kind of came back on track, even though I don’t want to re-enable Steam Cloud.

Henry Can’t Sprint:

Check for a drunken debuff.

Horse Can’t Sprint when Wearing a Caparison:

Check its carrying capacity to make sure it’s not overloaded.

Horse Speed Capped:

Check equipment for debuffs.

Luminosity / Screen Way Too Bright:

Make sure you are not drunk or haven’t drunk a Nighthawk potion by mistake.

Talking to Mutt after Finding Him Again:

Moving forward with gameplay and letting a few days pass has worked for a few people.

Craftsmanship Missing Perk Point:

Confirm clothing is not causing a false positive of what your crafting level is.

Fighting, Combos:

What happens is that when you make your attack from the direction of your choosing, Henry will automatically go to the left direction always (it’s kind of like a natural side of doing things). While it makes certain combos easier, it makes others tougher.

It’s quite helpful for landing a feint too. Overall, you just need to have very precise control on the timing (which you’ll learn over time) of how long you should wait for the direction change to take effect and then attack.

As you upgrade your stats, you’ll become slightly faster, making it easier. Not only this, but enemies parrying/blocking your attacks will decrease as your stats go up. Unfortunately, the reality is, unless you have really good stats, landing a 4+ action combo is fairly difficult.

Specific Sword Tier Reforged Radzig Kobyla’s Sword:

Currently, the maximum is 3 – the 4th will be added in future patches.

Straw Not Appearing Behind the Barn in Bad Blood:

Set this parameter in Steam’s startup options:

-devmode

And use these console commands:

• goto 2446, 2622, 220 (to go into the bugged room)
• goto 2446, 2618, 220 (to get you out)

Then delete -devmode from the launch options just to be safe.

Nebkova Invasion Bug (for Victory) – Its the Polearm:

To fix the issue, all you need to do is equip a sword for a little while – it’ll get drawn instantly, and after that, you should not experience this issue.

Dry Devil Fight:

It helps to load an earlier save, not directly before the combat. This should help you be successful in the battle as it introduces new random factors. There is some randomization in it, and sometimes Zizka dies very quickly. If the player is not well-leveled, it’s basically impossible to win the battle. However, just loading an earlier save makes it easier.

Alcohol Addiction (aka Obsession) Doesn’t Wear Off:

Don’t drink 4,800 hours worth of alcohol to try to wear it off.

Nomad Wager:

If you lose Round 1 and win Round 2 (Duel), the game autosaves after finishing Round 2. However, you are directly taken into a dialogue after Round 2 ends. If you try to load at this particular save, it will permanently load forever. Try a different save or go back and attempt the quest again.

Demons of Trosky:

Start quest right after healing the Chamberlain. You will get stuck with the finding of fireplaces in the Maiden’s Tower since the door where he normally resides won’t have a prompt to open nor lockpick.
