Game of Thrones: Kingsroad – Guide to Free Tinctures & Projectiles

Free Tinctures & Projectiles Guide
Ву arrana.
This guide, which will complete (and be present within) the map, is mostly targeted towards people leaving the Winterfell area for the first time (towards the Dreadfort) and discovering that all the nice little baskets with tinctures and projectiles are gone or are very rare. And buying them is expensive! And iron isn’t endless! And Sweetgrass is hiding itself from you in fear!
So, you’re lacking health potions? You can’t shoot anything because there are no more bolts? I’m here for you!
- I would also advise having the free fast travel perk, or it will cost you almost as much as buying the potions, except I guess if you’re into a slow life and horse trips. Oh, and another VERY important piece of advice: using those boxes will fully refill your tinctures and projectiles, so drink/shoot as much as you can before using them; it’ll be more worth it.
- I will separate this by areas and use keywords (Chests/Tinctures/Projectiles) so you can find stuff more easily.
- You will also have little tips and advice for some areas and the occasional chest, but I encourage you to explore. It’s fun.
- Most of those boxes of tinctures and bolts respawn daily.
Winterfell
Starting with the Winterfell area (because it’s closer to the Dreadfort for people who won’t fast travel or want a quicker option!), please note that the most interesting locations for tinctures are in Thorren Square and the Wolfswood; these are at the bottom of this list.
