Dark and Darker Mobile – Wizard: Overpowered (OP) Build

Wizard (OP) Guide
Ву JustJohn.
This wizard kit focuses solely on the usage of Magic staff, Fire and Ice spells. Orb is always your second weapon; ESP is just too good to pass up ever.
This kit/build is very collection dependent if you want it to be extremely powerful. You can have an optimal build with weaker collection stats. But I suggest trying to get +5 Vigor, +5 Knowledge, and +10 HP collection stats.
Your core 3 perks will always be Reactive, Ice Mastery, and Freeze. 4th perk is a flex perk; even Freeze can be interchangeable.
- Spells: Fireball, Enchanted Flame, Coldwave, Ice Shield.
Coldwave can be changed for Blizzard or Ice Arrow. I’ve found Coldwave can be really good for a quick disengage if you mess up your all-in.
This is a Solos oriented wizard kit!
This is basically just bonk wiz from Dark and Darker but with how bloated your stats can get through collections. You can stack an insane amount of HP for free. This can become very collection reliant. So be wary.
Even with a high health pool, you will be stat checked by Whirlwind double axe barbs. And any shield fighter with control of their character can beat you.
Strengths
- Heavy ranged damage from Fireballs.
- All-in is very very strong; health pool can be larger than some frontlines.
- Option of Fire Mastery as your flex perk to counter Second Wind, Victory Strike, and other heal abilities.
- PDR is now a stat that gives more use than just passive reduction (Reactive Shield and Ice Shield).
Weaknesses
- Slow… Very slow…
- Rogues can be hard to deal with, but you can’t really be landmined if you run Crystal Orb (which should always be a wizard secondary due to how broken its ability to ESP is)
- Your range is limited to Fireball, but you can also run Ice Arrows if you feel the need to poke a lot more or if you aren’t confident in the all-in
- Must stack health for this to work. Otherwise, you get simply health checked by any melee class other than Rogue, which will melt you
- Very restrictive options. You have one form of all-in and again, fewer ranged options. And even worse, minimal move speed. You have to be aware at all times
- Very needy in terms of win conditions… No Ice Shield? You die. No Enchanted Flame? Not enough damage. Reactive Shield down? You die. Don’t poke enough vs Fighter or Barbarian? You can die, especially vs Barbarian.
You need minimum 280-290 HP for this to work optimally. You are looking to stack 3-4 stats, and those are:
- Vigor, Health, Knowledge, PDR
You also want stats like:
- Strength, Phys Power, Magic Power, any Bonus buff duration, and any bonus power, either Phys or Magic.
Kits can get pricey. But finding the right pieces, you could get a nice budget kit with enough HP to boot.
Note: Blizzard can give you more success in all-ins if you manage to get it off right under you and your opponent. Ticking damage + potential to freeze is very very strong.

Didn’t include kit because there are no set pieces at this point in time other than Staff and Orb. Anything that can give you the 4 stats you Need is BIS.

Equipment
Crystal sword should be orb of any rarity I just put the kit on real quick. Very slow even with no weapons equipped.
